What does the Guest Stars Expansion add to the existing game?

The Guest Stars Expansion adds 7 new Playbooks and a new set of modules that will include pre-made aesthetics and story ideas for the new playbooks. These playbooks are different than the existing Colors however, as they are intended specifically for single session play. 

Each playbook has been crafted around the role of a Guest Star, either drawing from a squads' supporting cast or introducing a new never before seen character. These are meant to augment an existing squad and/or create a unique one off experience rather than replace anyone long term. In the context of the game, they steal the show temporarily but always give back to the core squad. At the table, they allow for existing players to take a break and try something new or let a friend who can only play for a single session drop in, in a fun, memorable way!

Gray is the custodian of the teams’ powers. Their master, provider, and guide whose had to make the tough choice to step into the action. 

Brown is the general. The right hand man of the Big Bad who unexpectedly has to work with their closest enemy.

Navy is a motorcycle riding, outsider hero, out on their own mission of righteousness...

Copper is the squads’ mascot and helper, who hasn't needed to see any combat...until now!

Cyan is someone’s individual mech, gone haywire and is acting out!

Multicolored is a monster of the week, whose decided that fighting might not be right for them anymore.

Clear is the local bully, close to the squad, who deep down wants to be a hero of their own!

Like all the other Colors, each comes with their own unique Looks, Connections, Tasks, Special Moves and Raises just like the other Color playbooks. Some are able to even leave things like weapons or upgrades behind for future sessions!
