There is still a lot about the Earth, the Solar System, and the Stars that we don’t fully understand. Where did we come from? Were there other sentient species before human beings on Earth?  The answer comes sooner than you think.

Recently, there have been more and more reports of gigantic creatures. Their origins unknown, these Eccentric Individuals are known to attack humans, terrorize cities, and generate toxic radiation.

In response to the continued sightings, elite task forces, known to the public as, Patrols have been forming all across the globe using high-powered vehicles and weapons to keep these creatures, or EIJI (Eccentric Individual Justifying Identification), at bay.

A few weeks back, you had a strange encounter with an EIJI that left you changed forever. This EIJI was not violent towards you, instead it communicated with you, telling you that it is a Guardian, a being of intense power who was trying to capture other EIJI while protecting innocent lives. 

Asking for your help, the Guardian bonds their life force with yours, taking you on as a Host. With strange new abilities at your disposal, you and your Patrol give the EIJI threat a taste of their own medicine: for 3 minutes, at a time, transform into a towering manifestation of your bonded Guardian, and level the playing field as you fight back for humanity!

To aid in the fight against the EIJI, you are going to help patrols fight EIJI with EIJI!

3 Minutes is a tabletop roleplaying game inspired by media like Ultraman, Mirrorman, and Spectreman. This game is meant to simulate the exploration, quick decision making and thrilling combat that we see as such in an episodic show. The name is a reference to the fact that these gigantic heroes are usually seen on screen for a very limited amount of time, making the action as memorable as possible.

The game supports 3 to 4 Players and a Narrator, for 4-5 hour sessions. Players each create a Host and Guardian who navigate locations and hunt down any EIJI that are running rampant. The Narrator plays not only the EIJI but manages the site, any other patrol members and all NPCs.
